Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about tracking, shipping, delivery and customs. Can't find your answer? Our team responds within one business hour.

TRACKING

How do I track my shipment?

Enter your tracking number (for example VSC-2026-100001) in the tracking form on our homepage or the Track Shipment page. You will see the current status, full event history, estimated delivery date, and the shipment route on a map. No account is required.

Where do I find my tracking number?

Your tracking number is included in the booking confirmation email we send when your shipment is registered, and it is printed on the shipping label and invoice. It starts with VSC- followed by the year and a six-digit number.

How often is tracking information updated?

Tracking events are recorded at every physical checkpoint: registration, pickup, arrival and departure at each hub, customs clearance, out-for-delivery, and delivery. For road transport, positions typically update several times a day; for ocean freight at each port call.

SHIPPING

Which countries do you ship to?

We cover more than 120 countries through our own European network and long-standing agent partnerships worldwide. Daily road departures cover all of Europe; ocean and air services connect Rotterdam and Amsterdam with every major trade lane.

How are shipping costs calculated?

Pricing depends on the transport mode, chargeable weight or volume, route, and any additional services such as insurance or customs clearance. Request a quote through our contact form and our team will respond within one business hour with a firm, all-in price.

Can you handle dangerous goods?

Yes. We are certified for ADR road transport and IATA DGR air freight. Our specialists verify classification, packaging, marking, and documentation before acceptance, so your hazardous cargo moves compliantly and without delays.

DELIVERY

What happens if nobody is available to receive my delivery?

Our carrier will attempt delivery a second time on the next business day, and you will be contacted to arrange a suitable time slot. After two failed attempts the shipment is held at the nearest depot for collection, and our support team will reach out to arrange redelivery.

Is my shipment insured?

All shipments are covered under standard carrier liability (CMR for road, Hague-Visby for sea, Montreal Convention for air). We strongly recommend all-risk cargo insurance for valuable goods, which we can arrange at competitive rates — typically 0.3–0.5% of the commercial value.

CUSTOMS

Do you take care of customs clearance?

Yes. Our in-house licensed brokers file directly with Dutch Customs and can act as your representative for both import and export declarations. Send us your commercial invoice and packing list and we handle classification, declarations, and duty payment.

What documents do I need for international shipping?

At minimum: a commercial invoice and packing list. Depending on the commodity and destination, a certificate of origin, export licence, or health certificate may be required. Your account coordinator checks the full document set before departure so nothing surprises you at the border.
